Eugene, OR : Deadly crash blocks I-5 near Goshen on May 20th 2014

A woman died and a man was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after a pickup ran into the back of a disabled semi truck near the Goshen exit of Interstate 5, Oregon State Police said.

The crash happened at about 7 a.m. Tuesday on I-5 southbound near the Highway 58 junction.

Troopers at the scene said a woman passenger died in the crash. The male driver was taken to the hospital; no word yet on his condition.

The Oregon Department of Transportation reported delays in the area while crews cleared the scene.
