20-year-old Tonganoxie man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Jefferson County

A 20-year-old Tonganoxie, Kan., man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Jefferson County on Sunday, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash report.

Blake Sneed was riding a motorcycle westbound on 24 Highway when he lost control and crashed into a ditch, about 1 mile east of Perry, Kan., the highway patrol said.

Sneed was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet, police said.

The investigation into the crash continues.
