Memphis, TN : Woman driving with 3 kids collides with police squad car on Thursday night, November 13, 2014

A mother driving with her three kids in a Ford Mustang collided with a police officer at Coleman Road and Austin Peay Highway on Thursday night. The officer was reportedly heading to a robbery call with the emergency lights flashing when the woman ran a red light and hit the squad car. The kids were taken to the hospital in non-critical condition. Their father said they will be OK. "Scratches across her face, they could have not walked away. That's a sad fact. That's painful," he said. The officer was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The woman driving the Ford Mustang was cited for running the red light.
