NASHVILLE, TN : 1 killed in single-vehicle crash on I-24 West at Harding Place on Sunday, 11th September 2016
Two people were killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 24 West in Davidson County Sunday.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, there was a report around 7:15 p.m. of an overturned SUV at mile marker 55, which is near the Harding Place exit.
Officials on the scene told News 2 one of the passengers was killed at the scene, while another person was ejected. That patient was taken to a hospital for treatment, who later died.
After the accident, two people reportedly ran from the SUV and into the woods.
Some of the westbound lanes are closed, and reopened early Monday morning.
