Orlando,FL : Motorcyclist killed in crash on Consulate Drive in Orange County on October, Wednesday 25th 2017

A 22-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle was hit by a car on Wednesday morning on Consulate Drive near State Road 528, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Oliver Davis of Orlando was taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center but later died, FHP Sgt. Kim Montes said.

Troopers say Walter Wade, 56, of Orlando, was trying to enter State Road 528 west around 6:25 a.m. when he turned in front of the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name was not released.

The crash backed up rush hour traffic on SR 528 and Florida’s Turnpike.

The crash remains under investigation.
