Lasvegas, NV : Man, 33, driving Hummer killed in rollover crash on April, Sunday 2nd 2017
A man was killed when he was partially ejected from a Hummer during a rollover crash Sunday evening in the northeast valley, according to Metro Police.
The crash happened about 6 p.m. at North Pecos Road and East Harris Avenue, police said.
A Toyota Corolla driven by a 54-year-old woman made a right turn from Harris to Pecos, pulling in front of the Hummer, police said. The Hummer hit the back of the car and a sidewalk curb before it rolled onto its roof, police said.
The 33-year-old Las Vegas man driving the Hummer was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. A female passenger in the Hummer was taken to University Medical Center with moderate injuries, police said.
Pecos was closed in both directions from Harris to Bonanza Road for more than eight hours, according to the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada.
