HAMDEN, CT : Hamden police investigate pedestrian-car accident on Thursday, January, 25th 2018
Police are conducting an investigation after a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle Thursday morning, the release said.
Around 8 a.m., police responded to the area of Dixwell Avenue and Skiff Street on the report of a motor vehicle accident, involving a pedestrian, according to a press release.
An investigation revealed a 30-year-old Hamden resident was crossing Skiff Street, when he was struck by a motor vehicle that was traveling eastbound. He was not in the established crosswalk at the time of impact. He was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital with life-threatening injuries, but his condition is currently listed as stable, the release stated.
