Vt. ballplayer killed in accident after NH game in New Hampshire

Police say a Vermont man has died in a traffic accident hours after he was named the most valuable player of an amateur baseball championship game in New Hampshire. Police say 22-year-old Jon Ferrero of Woodstock was a passenger in a pickup truck that struck a guardrail, flipped over and hit a tree in Woodstock on Sunday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
