TIPTON COUNTY, IN : 57-year-old man dead in 4-vehicle Tipton County crash on Monday, 5th June 2023

Indiana State Police detectives are investigating a deadly crash that happened Monday afternoon in Tipton County.

ISP officers and Tipton County sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a four-vehicle crash June 5 shortly after noon at the intersection of State Road 28 and County Road 1050 West.

Investigators preliminarily believe a 40-year-old Frankfort man and 42-year-old Tipton man were driving pickup trucks pulling anhydrous tanks westbound on State Road 28 when a Volkswagen, driven by a 17-year-old, attempted to pass the two pickup trucks and sideswiped the first pickup truck and a semi-truck, driven by 57-year-old Matthew Marley, of Rossville, going eastbound on State Road 28.
