Paxton,NE: 43-year-old woman died in a crash on Interstate 80 Thursday night,July 30th,2015

The Nebraska State Patrol say a 43-year-old Ravenna woman has died in a crash on Interstate 80 in western Nebraska.

The Kearney Hub reports (http://bit.ly/1IfQw7u ) that the crash happened Thursday night when a flatbed truck driven by Angela Miller was hit from behind by a sport utility vehicle on the interstate about two miles east of Paxton.

The patrol says that caused Miller to lose control of the truck and crash into a commercial vehicle carrying hazardous materials.

Investigators say Miller, who was not wearing a seat belt, died.

The commercial truck caught fire after the impact. Patrol officials did not know whether its driver or the driver of the SUV were injured in the crash, which shut down the interstate for several hours.
