KANSAS CITY, MO : Crash on Blue Ridge Boulevard kills motorcyclist on Wednesday, 18th September 2024

A crash between a truck and motorcycle killed one person Wednesday night in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Kansas City Missouri Police Department said a preliminary investigation revealed a red Ford F150 was making a left turn from northbound Blue Ridge Boulevard onto westbound 99th Street when it was struck by a black Honda CBR motorcycle heading southbound on Blue Ridge Boulevard.

Police said the motorcycle was traveling at a “very high rate of speed” when the crash occurred just after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
