Madison, WI : A head-on crash that shut down Highway 51 on Monday, 2nd April 2018

A head-on crash that shut down Highway 51 for about four hours Monday night in the town of Dunn left one man dead and another critically injured. The crash happened at about 10 p.m. at the Highway 51 and Highway AB intersection.

The Dane County Sheriff’s Office said a 25-year-old Stoughton man driving a Cadillac DTS died at the scene. A 22-year-old Stoughton man driving a GMC Sierra pickup truck sustained critical injuries and was flown by Med Flight to UW Hospital.

The Sheriff’s Office said neither driver was wearing a seat belt.
