Boise, ID : Five children injured after a multi-vehicle crash near downtown Boise on Monday morning, March 23, 2015

Boise police are investigating a multiple-vehicle crash that sent five kids to the hospital Monday morning.

Police responded to the intersection of Main Street and Whitewater Park Boulevard at about 8:30 a.m.

Three vehicles were involved.

From one of the vehicles, six people - one adult and five children younger than 10 - were given medical attention at the scene and were transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The intersection was reopened after being restricted to one lane while a crash reconstruction team investigated.

No citations had been issued as of Monday afternoon.
