BRIDGEPORT, CT : Biker critically injured in Bridgeport collision dies on Monday, 30th March, 2020

The biker critically injured in a collision nearly a week ago has died, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed Monday.
Ricardo Ruiz died March from “complications of blunt force trauma of head and neck,” according to medical examiner’s report.
The manner of death was ruled an accident, with clarification that it was caused by a motor vehicle collision.
Ruiz, a Bridgeport resident, was initially in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital after the accident March 24, Capt. Kevin Gilleran said at the time.
The collision that led to Ruiz’s death happened at the intersection of East Main and Stillman streets around 5:30 p.m. that day.
