Cle Elum, WA : A 25-year-old Sarah S. Sapp was injured and infnt is unhurt in crash at Interstate 90 on Sundayday, April 17th, 2016
A 25-year-old East Wenatchee woman was injured but an infant escaped unharmed when the woman lost control of her vehicle on Interstate 90 about 11 miles west of Cle Elum on Sunday morning, the Washington State Patrol reported.
Sarah S. Sapp was driving east in her 1996 Chrysler Town & Country van when it left the roadway to the right for unexplained reasons at 7:25 a.m. The van rolled and came to rest on its right side, the State Patrol said in a news release.
Sapp was taken to Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue with undisclosed injuries, but a 10-month-old boy in the vehicle was not injured, the patrol said. The vehicle was totaled.
A shift supervisor at Overlake said Sunday afternoon that Sapp was admitted to the hospital for treatment and was in satisfactory condition.
The patrol said Sapp will be charged with second-degree negligent driving and third-degree driving with a suspended license.
