Clark County, NV : 27-year-old Las Vegas man killed in SUV crash on Thursday October 15 2015
A 27-year-old Las Vegas man was killed Thursday in the southwest valley after being hit by an SUV following an argument with the driver, according to Metro Police.
He was identified Friday by the Clark County Coroner's Office as Michael Richards.
Richards was arguing about 5 p.m. with 40-year-old Las Vegas resident Christopher Sacca in front of a house in the 9100 block of Quiet Cove Way, near Desert Inn and Fort Apache roads, police said in a news release.
Sacca got into the SUV and headed east when Richards grabbed onto the driver's side of the SUV before falling onto the roadway, police said.
Richards was struck by the vehicle, and police say Sacca fled the scene before being found at his house.
Sacca was arrested on a count of felony DUI as well as hit and run, police said,
This is the 87th traffic-related death in Metro's jurisdiction this year, according to police.
