Dodge County, WI : Two people hurt in semi, pickup truck crash on U.S. 41 near Lomira on Sunday, March 29, 2015
Two people were seriously injured in a crash on Highway 41 Sunday morning near the Town of Lomira when a pickup truck crossed a median, rolled several times and was hit by a semitrailer truck.
The Dodge County sheriff''s office said Tammy M. Ragsdale, 45, of Kenosha was driving the pickup on Highway 41 northbound around 10:45 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle, which entered the median and rolled multiple times. The pickup truck landed in the southbound lane of Highway 41, where it was struck by the semi.
Ragsdale and a passenger, 50-year-old Richard A. Ballwanz of Waukesha, received serious injuries and were taken to Theda Clark Hospital, according to the sheriff's office. The driver of the semi was not injured.
Highway 41 southbound was closed for three hours Sunday while the crash was being investigated.
