MARICOPA, AZ : 1 dead, 1 hospitalized after single-vehicle crash in Maricopa on Sunday, 11th February 2024

One person is dead, and another is fighting for their life after a car crash in Maricopa on Sunday afternoon.

Around 2:30 p.m., the Maricopa Police and Fire/Medical departments were called to a single-vehicle crash near Taft Avenue and McDavid Road, just west of Highway 347.

The Maricopa Police Department says two people were found in the car. The person in the passenger seat died at the scene, and the driver was taken to a Valley hospital with life-threatening injuries.
