Casper, WY : Elderly woman died after she was struck by a car while walking across an intersection on Sunday morning September 14th 2014

Police say an elderly woman died after she was struck by a car while walking across an intersection in Casper. The Casper Star-Tribune reports that the woman, whose name has not been released, was hit at about 7 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of 15th and Pinyon streets. She was pronounced dead at a hospital. Investigators say the woman was not walking in a marked intersection, and the rising sun might have affected the driver's vision.
