A man was killed in a fire at a Wilmington apartment complex Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were first dispatched to the apartment in the 1600 block of Grace Street at around 1:40 a.m., according to a spokesperson for the Wilmington Fire Department.
Light smoke was showing from the residence when firefighters arrived, the spokesperson said.
The fire was quickly extinguished, but firefighters found a man still inside during their search.
