JACKSONVILLE, FL : Semi crash kills one on I-95 South on Southside on Thursday, December 22nd2016

A crash between a semi-truck and a car killed at least one person on I-95 southbound at Old St. Augustine Road early Thursday morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol website, the crash occurred at 12:37 a.m. just before the exit to Old St. Augustine Road.

Initially, all southbound lanes were closed but only the right lane remains shut down. The exit ramp to Old St. Augustine Road is open.

State troopers were still on scene investigating. The names of the people involved and the cause of the crash has not been released.
