PEMBROKE PINES, FL : Florida teen killed by lightning strike in Broward County on Wednesday, 18th September 2024

A Florida teen was struck and killed by lightning while riding his bike home from band practice Wednesday in Pembroke Pines, according to media reports.

Sixteen-year-old McArthur High School Student Cameron Day was riding his bike before he stopped in a neighborhood just south of Pines Boulevard, according to a report from CBS Miami.
