Pierce City,MO :Woman injured in Route C wreck on April, Thursday 26th 2017

A Pierce City woman was injured Thursday in a wreck at 11:48 p.m. on Route C, one mile west of Purdy.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cecilia Felton, 56, of Pierce City, was driving a 2004 Ford Explorer westbound when her vehicle exited the roadway and struck a mailbox, utility pole and fence.

Felton suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Mercy EMS to Mercy Hospital in Joplin.

She was wearing a safety device, and the vehicle sustained moderate damage.
