Greers Ferry, AR : Heber Springs man killed in motorcycle crash near the Dollar General, 7951 Edgemont Road on Monday, July 4, 2016

An Arkansas man was killed in a motorcycle crash on the Fourth of July.

Arkansas State Police indicate the crash happened in Greers Ferry near the Dollar General, 7951 Edgemont Road, just before 7 p.m.

Robert Nolan Hooper, 53, of Heber Springs was driving a 1998 Harley-Davidson motorcycle north on Highway 16.

According to ASP, Hooper pulled into the path of a 2007 Dodge truck that was headed west on the same highway.

Hooper died as a result of the collision.

Two people in the truck were not injured.
