Jasonville,IN : Accident results in one fatality on August, Friday 11th 2017

A Jasonville man passed away after a vehicle accident Friday afternoon.

According to a news release from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, Ronald Hertaus, 54, of Jasonville, was involved in an accident on 1000 West near 800 North.

Hertaus’ motorcycle ran off the roadway, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene due to injuries.

The incident is noted to be under investigation.

Assisting departments included the Linton Police Department, Jasonville Police Department, Greene County EMS, Greene County Coroner’s Office, Wright Township Fire Department, Greene County Rescue, Worthington Police Department, Indiana State Police and Dan’s Auto.
