The Spartanburg County coroner released the name of the man killed after his car overturned Friday night.
Brian Souryasack, 24, of Spartanburg, was pronounced dead at Spartanburg Medical Center Saturday morning, Coroner Randy Bogan said.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said it is investigating the fatal single-car crash that happened on Springfield Road in Spartanburg County.
Troopers said the crash happened just before 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Souryasack was driving a a two-door 1992 Honda traveling north when his car went off the right side of the road, hit a ditch and overturned, troopers said.
Souryasack was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle when it overturned, troopers said.
The Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
