A motorcycle operator was killed in an early-morning crash in Brighton on Wednesday.
Massachusetts State Police are investigating the death of a 26-year-old man after he crashed his motorcycle on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Brighton. The identity of the victim is being withheld until family members are notified, state police said in a statement.
A preliminary investigation by state police suggests that around 3:20 a.m., the motorcycle rider was operating a 2010 Yamaha YZFR1 motorcycle from East Boston. At that time, he was traveling onto the Exit 18 ramp, from the Mass. Pike eastbound, when he struck the curb and was ejected from the bike. The 26-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
