Butler County, AL : Jorge, 40, and Alvarado, 26, died in a crash on Interstate 65, south of Greenville on Sunday, November 20, 2016

A crash Sunday in Butler County killed two men.

The incident happened on Interstate 65 near mile marker 123, two miles south of Greenville, at 3:12 p.m.

Escalnte Jorge, of Charlotte, N.C., and Joel Antonio Ocado Alvarado, of Lake Plaza, Fla., were riding in a 2000 GMC Yukon when the vehicle overturned on the interstate.

Jorge, 40, and Alvarado, 26, were ejected from the car. They were both pronounced dead at the scene, Senior Trooper Johnathan Appling said.

Neither men were wearing seat belts.

Alabama State Troopers are investigating the incident.
