Knoxville, TN : Man dies in Knoxville car crash on Jackson Avenue near Randolph Street on Friday, September 12, 2014

One man is dead Saturday morning after he lost control of his car on Jackson Avenue. According to Knox County Police Department, the driver was traveling West near Randolph street when he lost control of the car and hit a telephone pole. He was taken to UT Hospital where he died immediately. The driver was speeding and did not have a seat belt on at the time of the crash. His name is not being released until his family is notified.
