VANCOUVER, WA : Vehicle crashes into Vancouver home killing one impairment speed suspected on Thursday, 3rd August 2023

A vehicle crashed into a Vancouver home Thursday evening, killing a person inside and a family pet, according to authorities.

The vehicle crashed into the home at 2607 Unander Ave. at around 6:40 p.m.

Vancouver police said the driver was impaired and traveling fast when they hit a curb, crashed through a fence and then into the home.

Police said the person who was killed was a woman and she died at the scene.
