The South Carolina Highway Patrol says one person is dead following a collision on Interstate 26, Saturday.
The accident took place on Interstate 26 at around 4:40 a.m.
Hannah Wimberly with the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver of a Chrysler Sebring was heading west in the eastbound lane of I-26.
The Sebring struck an 18- wheeler head-on.
The driver of the Sebring was killed in the collision.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was injured and was taken to the hospital
