COLLIN COUNTY, TX : Texoma teens among victims of Collin County crash on Tuesday, June 6, 2017

At least four people -- including two teenage girls -- died in a chain-reaction crash that involved five vehicles on a North Texas highway Tuesday afternoon.

Texas Highway Patrol spokesman Lt. Lonny Haschel said the accident happened just after 4 p.m. near the intersection of State Highway 121 and County Road 528, about 21 miles southeast of Sherman and just east of the town of Westminster in Collin County.

According to preliminary information,Haschel said a Pontiac Grand Prix driven by 16-year-old Zoe Wilson of Van Alstyne was headed northbound on 121 when the car slowed on the two-lane highway and was struck from behind by a Dodge pickup truck.
