BOTETOURT COUNTY, VA : 84-year-old charged with reckless driving after car crashes into children's learning center on Tuesday, 10th October 2023

An 84-year-old is charged after a crash in Botetourt County on Tuesday, VSP said.

Virginia State Police said they were called to investigate a motor vehicle crash on Laymantown Road at its intersection with Knollwood Drive.

According to VSP, a 2014 Toyota SUV hit the Children's Nest Learning Center. Two infants and a teacher were injured when the vehicle hit the building.

They were taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital. VSP said they do not have any information on their condition or the injuries.
