Mountain Home ,ID : Boise man dies in Simco Road car crash on Saturday ,July 25th 2015

A Boise man died as a result of a deadly crash in Elmore County.

The Elmore County Sheriff’s Office said the crash occurred just before 8 a.m. on Saturday when the driver of a 2001 Pontiac on Simco Road failed to negotiate a right-hand curve at a hillcrest.

The 32-year-old driver then lost control of the car, which slid sideways into an embankment and went airborne. The Pontiac then struck a fence before rolling multiple times and coming to rest on its roof.

The driver, who suffered serious head injuries, died at the scene. The victim’s name has not been released, pending notification of family.

Investigators said he was wearing a seat belt. They said It is unknown if alcohol played a factor in the crash.
