St. Cloud, FL : Man in wheelchair struck, killed by pickup truck in St. Cloud Friday evening on October 10, 2014

A man in a wheelchair who was struck by a car pulling out of a driveway has died, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers said Billy Thompson, 70, was backing out his Chevy pickup truck in St. Cloud Friday evening when he struck Anthony Gannarelli, 74. Gannarelli was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he later died. The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
