Lorain,OH : North Ridgeville police car involved in Lorain crash on May, Wednesday 2nd 2018

The Lorain Police Department is investigating a two-car crash involving a police vehicle.

A white Hyundai Accent collided front to front with a North Ridgeville K-9 Unit cruiser about 7:50 a.m. May 2 at the intersection of West 21st Street and Broadway, according to Lorain Police.

The officer driving the cruiser did not sustain injuries, but the driver of the Hyundai, a 47-year-old Lorain woman, was transported to Mercy Health via LifeCare with non-life-threatening injuries, according to paramedics.

Information regarding which driver is at fault has not been released, nor any further information as the matter is being looked into by both the Lorain and North Ridgeville police departments, according to Lorain Police.
