Hutchinson, KS : Semi, van accident near U.S. 160 and K-15 on Tuesday, January 3rd 2017

Cowley County Sheriff’s deputies and area fire-EMS personnel responded to a traffic accident involving a semi truck and passenger van shortly before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, north of Dexter. The collision happened in the 18000 Block of K-15 Highway near the intersection of U.S. Highway 160, an area sometimes referred to as the “Dexter Y.” The Kansas Department of Transportation was called to shut down a section of the highway, diverting traffic for sometime. No major injuries are believed to have been sustained by the drivers of both vehicles. No further information was available at press time.
