Topeka,KS : Colorado man killed in pickup truck-semi crash Monday in southwest Kansas on September, Monday 11th 2017

A Colorado man lost his life Monday when his pickup truck collided with a semi-trailer in southwest Kansas, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 11:53 a.m. Monday about 12 miles northwest of Johnson City in Stanton County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol’s online crash log, a 2014 Kenworth semi-trailer was eastbound on County Road 4, while a 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck was was southbound on County Road W.

The patrol said the semi-trailer failed to yield at a yield sign and was struck by the Chevrolet pickup truck.
