One person suffered life-threatening injuries on highway 400

One person suffered life-threatening injuries early Sunday morning when a vehicle rolled on Highway 400 – south of Barrie.

It happened in the southbound lanes of the highway – just south of Mapleview Drive around 1:30 a.m. The driver was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

All three southbound lanes of Hwy. 400 were closed for several hours while police investigated the crash. The road reopened just before 9 a.m.
