Authorities have identified the pedestrian killed early today on U.S. 43 near Creola as a Wilmer man.

James Tipton Brady II, 50, was killed when he was struck by two vehicles, according to Alabama State Troopers spokesman Jamie L. Maloy.

The crash occurred at 6:20 a.m. near the 16 mile marker, two miles north of Creola, Maloy said.

Both drivers remained at the scene, where Brady was pronounced dead, the Trooper said.

Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the incident.
