Glendale, AZ : Seven people hurt after a crash involving a Glendale ambulance on Thursday, August 7, 2014
Authorities say seven people are injured after a crash involving a city of Glendale ambulance.
Glendale Fire Department officials say a truck and an ambulance collided at 65th and Peoria avenues before 11 a.m. Thursday.
They say the ambulance was responding to a call with lights and sirens when the accident occurred.
Authorities say the second vehicle was headed in the opposite direction and veered into the ambulance.
Two other vehicles also were hit.
Seven people were taken to a hospital for evaluation, but authorities say no one suffered life-threatening injuries.
It wasn't immediately clear if there was a patient in the ambulance at the time of the accident.
Authorities say the cause of the crash is under investigation.
