Charlotte, N.C : Seven injured after crash closes busy southeast Charlotte road on Friday morning, November 21, 2014

A busy road in southeast Charlotte was shut down Friday morning as police investigated a serious crash. Monroe Road was closed in both directions at Ashmore Drive following the wreck just before 11 a.m. Images from scene of crash from Chopper 9 From Chopper 9, you could see two vehicles, including a van, involved in the crash. MEDIC's mass casualty bus along with two ambulances responded to the scene to treat multiple patients and ended up transporting seven people to Novant Presbyterian with minor injuries.
