Killeen, TX : Vehicle crashes into Killeen store’s wall on Sunday, October, 22nd 2017

The driver of a vehicle was taken to a hospital after the vehicle struck a wall of a Mickey’s Convenience Store on Sunday afternoon. Bystanders avoided injury.

“A guy just came straight through the building,” Mickey’s manager Karen Walinder said. “It happened (around 1:30 p.m.).”

The business, at 4302 E. Stan Schlueter Loop, received no structural damage, according to a building inspector who assessed the building after the accident.

The vehicle went through the front wall of the store, knocking down several display shelves before coming to a stop.

A Killeen police officer at the scene said there were no injuries reported aside from the driver, who had been taken to a local hospital.

Police believe the incident was an accident.
