One person died Saturday in a motorcycle crash in northeast Colorado Springs, according to police.
The crash was reported just before 9:30 a.m. at Austin Bluffs Parkway and East Woodmen Road.The driver of another vehicle was turning south onto Austin Bluffs Parkway when they struck the motorcycle, police said.
The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, died on scene.
Police are not releasing details about the driver’s age or sex until family is notified, said Lt. Catherine Buckley of the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Drugs and alcohol were not involved in the accident, Buckley said.
