Monroe,LA : Log truck, vehicle wreck on U.S. 165 on February, Thursday 8th 2018

A log truck, vehicle accident happened at Pearl Street and U.S. 165 Thursday morning.

According to Monroe Police, the accident happened around 8:30 a.m. when a 1999 Chevy exited Pearl Street into the path of an 18-wheeler traveling on U.S. 165.

The Chevy was hit in the side and suffered extensive damage in the wreck. The driver was unconscious following the accident.

According to the MPD, there were no fatalities, and it is not believed anyone suffered life-threatening injuries.
