Milwaukee, WI : Suspect arrested after boy is hurt in hit-and-run accident at N. Chicago and E. Rawson avenues on Tuesday afternoon, Sep 22, 2015

A 12-year-old boy was taken to a hospital as a precaution Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in South Milwaukee, police said.

The driver suspected of striking the boy shortly before 3:30 p.m. at N. Chicago and E. Rawson avenues was arrested in Cudahy by police after witnesses provided them with a license plate number, according to the release.

The boy was crossing the street against a traffic signal when he was struck, according to the release.
