Azusa, CA : Six people injured one of them seriously in multi-vehicle freeway crash on Friday afternoon September 18 2015

A multi-vehicle freeway crash on the 210 Freeway in Azusa injured six people, one of them seriously, Friday afternoon, officials said.
The crash took place at 4:07 p.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway, just east of Azusa Avenue, California Highway Patrol Officer Alex Rubio said.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash, including an SUV that overturned, throwing an occupant into the roadway, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department and CHP officials. Initial reports from the scene indicated the ejected person was able to get up after being thrown from the SUV.
Firefighters evaluated a total of eight people at the crash scene, fire Dispatch Supervisor Cheryl Simms said.
Rescuers summoned a helicopter to rush one person to a hospital, while two others were taken to hospitals by ambulance, Simms said.
Three people involved in the crash were treated at the scene, and two others were unhurt, fire officials said.
