Ridgecrest, CA : Two people have died following a traffic collision on Thursday, 29th March 2018

Two people have died following a traffic collision south of Randsburg on Thursday, according to California Highway Patrol.

CHP reported that at least two people died during the head-on collision on Highway 395 south of Cuddeback Road. The vehicles involved were a minivan and a Ford pickup truck.

A Kern County coroner is traveling to the destination and Kern County fire personnel are already on scene.

The southbound lane was last reported blocked and CHP and Caltrans are directing both northbound and southbound traffic through the northbound lane in an alternating pattern.
