Northport, AL : Fayette man killed, 2 teens injured in head-on collision on U.S. Highway 43 Saturday night, Oct 3, 2015

A Fayette man was killed and two teenagers were injured Saturday night in a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 43 near Northport.

Jimmie Lee Hall, 63, was killed when the 1997 Lincoln Town Car he was driving collided head-on with a 2004 Ford F150 driven by Christopher Scott Murphy, 17, of Northport, according to Alabama state troopers.

Hall was pronounced dead at the scene near the 212-mile marker, nine miles north of Northport. Murphy was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

A 13 year-old passenger of the Lincoln was airlifted to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.

Troopers continue to investigate.
