VACAVILLE, CA : Big-rig crash blocks I-80 lanes in Vacaville on Wednesday, 30th January 2019

A big-rig crashed early Wednesday on Interstate 80 and blocked two lanes of traffic into the morning commute.The crash was reported shortly before 1:35 a.m. on eastbound I-80 near the Cherry Glen Road off ramp, the California Highway Patrol reports. The big-rig flipped onto its side and came to rest partway down an embankment after damaging the guardrail at the crash scene.

At least one person had what authorities describe as minor injures, the CHP reports. The nature of the injury was not reported.

One lane of eastbound I-80 west of Cherry Glen Road was blocked as a result of the crash. An adjacent lane was also blocked as crews worked at the scene.
